Quilters

Join the Quilters at St. Paul Lutheran Church!

The Quilters group at St. Paul Lutheran Church is one of our largest and most cherished ministries,
gathering weekly to create beautiful quilts that bring comfort and care to those in need.
This dedicated group meets every Thursday at 9:00 AM, and all are welcome to participate.

Here’s what makes our Quilters group so special:

  • A Ministry of Comfort – The quilts made by our group are not just practical items; they are heartfelt symbols of comfort, care, and love. Quilts are given to those in need, such as local shelters or relief organizations, and within our own congregation to mark significant life events.

  • Gifts for Special Occasions – Quilts are lovingly crafted and offered as gifts to high school seniors, newborns, and others within the church as a gesture of warmth and support. They remind recipients that they are embraced by the St. Paul community.

  • A Spirit of Fellowship – Each Thursday morning, the quilting group gathers for more than just sewing. It’s a time to share stories, laugh, support one another, and bond over a shared mission of giving back to others.

  • No Experience Necessary – Whether you’re an experienced quilter or new to the craft, you’ll find a welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to contribute. If you’re eager to learn, there are plenty of experienced hands ready to teach you.

The offering of a quilt at St. Paul Lutheran Church is a meaningful symbol of comfort, care, and community.
By joining the Quilters group, you can be part of this wonderful tradition of giving back and making a difference in people’s lives, both within our congregation and beyond.
